Silva Verde — which means "Green Forest" in Portuguese — is more than a name. It is a philosophy. We believe that the best skincare comes from the earth: from cold-pressed plant oils, botanical extracts, and ingredients that have been trusted for centuries. No synthetic fragrances. No unnecessary fillers. Just honest, small-batch formulations made with intention.

Every bar of soap, every lip balm, every shampoo bar we make is crafted by hand in Madeira, Portugal. We work in small batches so we can control quality at every step — from sourcing ingredients to curing time to the moment a product reaches your hands.

Commercial soaps are often made with detergents that strip the skin of its natural oils. Our cold-process soaps retain the glycerin naturally produced during saponification — the same glycerin that keeps your skin soft and moisturised. The difference is something you feel from the very first wash.
